SkySpirit is a computer system to control flying objects in large spaces. The system consists of our camera tracking technolgy, which allows a fast and accurate tracking of the drones in very large indoor areas. The system can connect to software componets like Cinema4d, Max3D Studio, DMX and many more. SkySpirit communicates with the objects and makes sure they stay precisely on track.
We have tracked an area as large as 70m x 70m x 40m. If the objects are large enough they can be tracked up to about 100 meters distance to the cameras. The more cameras are used the larger the area that can be covered.
Depending on the object the actual controlled precision is better than 1cm. Not only do the objects fly position precise, but also timed precise i.e. to be in sync with a video screen.
Of course! There are strong LEDs available that are visible even under strong illumination conditions. The lights can be controlled via DMX.
The flight time highly depends on the size. Using helium the flight time can reach many hours.
So far we have done shows with up to 16 objects simultanously. This number can be increased, however the complexity also increases depending on the choreography
YES absolutely. Helium based drones are considered safe. We fly constantly over peoples heads. No worries.
A rock solid radio connection is mandatory. For this reason the entire communication is redundant and not within 2.4 Ghz.
